Terms Of Services

Welcome! Before we begin working together on your commission, please take a moment to review my Terms of Service. These guidelines are here to ensure a smooth, respectful, and professional experience for both of us :D

General

All artworks created by me are for personal use unless explicitly stated otherwise or discussed beforehand. I retain the right to showcase any commissioned or personal artwork in my portfolio, on social media, and in promotional material, unless a privacy agreement is made in advance.

  • I do not grant permission for my art to be used for AI training, NFTs, blockchain-related technologies, or unauthorized commercial purposes.

  • I always maintain the right to decline or halt a commission whenever necessary.

  • My work may not be reproduced, edited, or redistributed without my written consent and/or knowledge.

  • By commissioning or using my services, you agree to the terms outlined in my Terms of Service.

Payment

Before we get started, here’s everything you need to know about how payments work when commissioning me. This helps ensure we’re on the same page from the beginning and avoids any confusion down the line!Whether you're ordering a personal piece or something for commercial use, transparency is important. Please take a moment to read through the following:

  • Currency & Method: All prices are listed in USD. I currently accept payments via Paypal through an invoice.

  • Full Upfront Payment: I require full payment before starting your commission, unless we’ve discussed a payment plan or milestone arrangement.

  • A rush fee applies for urgent deadlines.

  • Custom designs without clear references (like new outfits or characters) may include a small design fee to cover extra creative time.

  • Additional fees will be applied in the event of a major change during the illustration process.

  • Commercial Fee is 50% of originally agreed payment.

Obligations

Clear communication and thoughtful references go a long way in bringing your vision to life. The more detailed and organized your request, the smoother (and more enjoyable!) the process will be for both of us.

  • Please include all important details when submitting your request—character names, personality, expression, pose, setting, and anything else relevant to your idea.

  • Moodboards, Pinterest links, outfit inspo, or past commissions are super helpful. Even a messy sketch or scribble works better than nothing!

  • I’m happy to help shape your idea, but I’ll need a general direction to start with. Open-ended “do whatever” briefs may lead to delays or extra revision rounds.

  • Please avoid asking for frequent updates or large changes after the sketch is approved, unless we’ve discussed it. Trust goes a long way in making great art together!

Schedule

Here’s a quick look at how things usually flow once you’ve booked a commission! I work step-by-step to make sure each piece gets the care it deserves. While timing can vary based on complexity and queue size, I’ll always keep you informed and do my best to stick to the estimated schedule.

  • Typical turnaround is between 1–4 weeks depending on complexity and current workload. I’ll give you a more specific estimate when you book.

  • You’ll get a sketch for approval before full upfront payment and, depending on the piece, one or two progress updates. You’re always welcome to check in politely for status, but please avoid excessive nudging.

  • If something comes up that may cause a delay (on my end or yours), I’ll let you know as soon as possible. I appreciate your patience and will always communicate clearly.

What I won't draw

  • NSFW (Explicit; only able to draw light themes)

  • Gore (Heavy)

  • Mecha (Can only draw light mecha elements)

Process

Every commission is crafted with care—from initial concept to final polish. Here's a breakdown of how I work, so you know exactly what to expect at each step:

  • Once your request is accepted, I’ll review the references and ideas you provide. If needed, I may ask for clarifications or suggest refinements to better shape the composition or mood. Keep in mind that the sketch revisions are completely free, meaning you can ask for another in case the first does not fit well.

  • I’ll create a loose sketch to block out pose, composition, and expression. This is your chance to request any major changes (pose, expression, outfit tweaks, etc.).

  • Once the rough sketch is approved, I’ll refine the drawing or move to clean linework. No major changes should be made beyond this point, unless it’s a paid revision.

  • I’ll lay down flat colors to show the overall palette. You can request minor adjustments to colors at this stage (hair tone, outfit shade, etc.).

  • This is where the piece comes to life! I’ll add shading, lighting, highlights, and final details. At this point, only very small tweaks (like lighting levels or minor edits) can be made.

  • Once complete, I’ll send you the high-resolution file(s) via email. You’re all set to enjoy your artwork!

Revisions

I want your commission to turn out just the way you imagine it, and revisions are a natural part of the process! That said, to keep things smooth and fair, revisions are limited to certain stages and types. Here's how revisions are handled:

  • Sketch Stage: One round of major revisions (pose, expression, outfit tweaks) is included.

  • Color Stage: Minor changes like palette adjustments are allowed.

  • Final Stage: Only small fixes (e.g., stray lines, lighting tweaks) can be made.

  • Additional changes outside the included rounds, or revisions requested after approval, may incur an extra fee depending on complexity.

  • Please do keep in mind that major changes include changing pose, redrawing limbs, swapping outfits, adding new elements, while Minor changes include adjusting color tone, fixing small details, shifting expression slightly

  • Please respond to revision previews within 48 hours to keep the commission on schedule. Delayed responses may lead to rescheduling or delays in delivery.

  • Once the final piece is approved and delivered, no further revisions will be made unless we’ve discussed it in advance.

Copyright | Legal Information

I work hard to bring your vision to life, so protecting both your rights and mine as the artist is important!

  • I (the artist) retain full copyright over all artworks I create. This means I can display the work in my portfolio, on social media, or use it for promotional purposes—unless we've agreed on a private commission.

  • You’re welcome to use your commission for personal, non-commercial purposes—such as icons, profile pictures, wallpapers, or printing it for yourself.

  • If you plan to use the artwork for anything that generates income (merch, monetized content, advertising, etc.), you must purchase commercial rights (50% of original agreed payment of personal commission).

  • You may repost the artwork with proper credit and a link back to my page. You may not resell the artwork, or use it in ways that generate revenue unless commercial rights were purchased.

  • If you don’t want your commission shared publicly, please let me know in advance. A privacy fee may apply depending on the situation.

DO NOT:

  • Claim the artwork as your own.

  • Remove my signature/watermark (if included).

  • Edit, trace, or heavily modify the artwork without permission.

  • Use the artwork for AI training, NFT minting, or any blockchain-related projects.

Cancellation | Refunds

Life happens—and I totally understand that sometimes plans change! Here’s how cancellations and refunds are handled to keep things fair for both of us:

  • You may cancel the commission before I begin, and receive a full refund. If I’ve already started (e.g., during the sketch stage), a partial refund will be given based on how much work has been done.

  • No refunds will be issued after the rendering or finalization stage has begun.

  • If I need to cancel your commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund, no matter the stage.

  • If I don’t hear back from you for more than 7 days during key stages (like lineart or rendering), your slot may be put on hold or canceled without a refund depending on how much has been completed.

  • All refunds will be issued through the original payment method. I am not responsible for delays or fees caused by third-party platforms.

  • Any unauthorized chargebacks will result in a permanent ban from future commissions, and I will retain the rights to the artwork and may repurpose it.

Product

Once your commission is complete, I’ll send you the finished artwork in a high-quality digital format—perfect for personal use, printing, or display online.

  • You will receive a high-resolution PNG file of the finished piece. This is the default format—clean, crisp, and perfect for viewing, printing, or sharing.

  • A JPEG version can be provided if you're using the artwork on platforms that require compressed formats or if you specifically request it.

  • If your commission includes a character without a background or you need the piece for editing/use elsewhere, I’ll send a transparent PNG as well (just let me know in advance!).

  • Unless otherwise requested, artwork will be created in 300 DPI resolution, suitable for both web and print. Canvas size may vary depending on the type of commission.

  • I work primarily in Paint Tool SAI, and layered SAI or PSD files are not included by default. However, I can send them for an additional fee or for commercial projects—please let me know in advance if you need the source file.

Thank you :3
